Aducem sincere mulțumiri europarlamentarilor Ivan Štefanec, Radan Kanev, Maria Grapini, pentru acordul de a adresa o întrebare scrisă Comisiei Europene în legătură cu programul ECIPES27.
Progresul programului ECIPES.
Textul întrebării scrise:
After decades of industrial relocation, the EU must promote strategic European industrial autonomy, such as is happening in the French bicycle industry(1). This might be possible using European Cohesion by Individual, Public and Entrepreneurs Support for the EU‑27 (ECIPES27), building manufacturers’ confidence in a newly created market. Would the Commission be willing to organize a debate on ECIPES27 involving main stakeholders, including the largest home appliance manufacturers in the EU?
Important Projects of Common European Interest(2) could be complemented by ECIPES27 which could boost home appliance production and recycling in the EU (35 million units), develop EU eco- and smart production and solutions (45 million units), support ecostart-ups (1 million units) and promote practical measures to boost the double transition, thus contributing to the EU’s industrial resilience. This way, the Commission would generate EU added value through ECIPES27(3) such as the concrete action on the European Bauhaus framework, with the proactive involvement of key private operators.
Will ECIPES27 secure critical elements of the EU’s strategic industrial autonomy, in line with the flagship initiative announced by Commission President in her State of the Union 2021 speech: ‘leading the digital transformation that will create jobs and drive competitiveness, while ensuring technical excellence and security of supply(4)’?
