Întrebarea către Comisia Europeană, privind finanțarea programului ECIPES, adresată de către eurodeputatul, dnl. Ivan Stefanec.
The European Green Deal makes green projects a precondition for all future EU funding programmes. The Republic of Moldova can be linked to the European Green Deal through its ECIPES programme, ensuring the recycling and replacement of 200 000 household appliances (TVs, refrigerators, washing machines), reducing energy consumption by 40 MW/year, implementing 500 local green projects, and supporting 2 000 eco-businesses launched by young people.
1. Can the Commission use cancelled funds from the EUR 40 million macro-financial programme (1) , destined for central authorities, for the direct benefit of Moldovan citizens through the already developed ECIPES programme, which needs EUR 40 million for 2021-2022?
2. Is the Commission of the view that thanks to innovations that can be used under the ECIPES programme (digitalisation, support programme for direct beneficiaries, eco-initiatives), it would be possible to give the green light very quickly to a possible EU flagship initiative for cohesion?
