IDEP Moldova organized a visit to establish collaborative relations in Vaslui, Romania

Today, 02.04.2018, IDEP Moldova organized a visit to establish collaboration relations in the municipality of Vaslui, Romania, for the mayors of Ungheni, Soroca, and the city of Călăraşi, Republic of Moldova. The topics of collaboration for the next period are the application of the 4 partner cities established as a result of today’s move to the MD-RO cross-border operational programme. More funds were identified and addressed that could be of certain possible cooperation, establishing roughly the similarities of the challenges between the 4 participating municipalities. At the same time, there have been discussions about the exchange of best practices in the field of Public-private partners to motivate economic operators in building and modernising infrastructure. A possibility to establish twinning between the participating cities of the Working Group has been established to discuss technical moments and opportunity. Thank you for the warm welcome of the entire commune of Vaslui Municipality, the trust of the 3 partner cities of Moldova-Ungheni, Soroca and Călăraşi! We hope to fructificam these beautiful initiatives in tangible concrete projects for the citizens of the 4 municipalities and cities with a total population of about 150,000 people.
