Today, October 31, 2013, the Delegation of the Institute for Project Development and Expertise, headed by IDEP President, Mr. Iurie Calestru, will participate in the International Forum Danube Synergy & amp; amp; amp; amp; organized by the Odessa Regional State Administration, in partnership with the central and local authorities, the diplomatic missions of the Danube countries and international organizations.
During the sessions of the Forum IDEP representatives will address issues related to sustainable development of local public authorities in the Danube region, the prospect of joint cross-border projects aimed at deepening the integration process between the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Romania, as well as issues related to environmental protection and institutional development of local public administration in this area.
Also, IDEP will present its vision of local community development directions, based on the need to move away from fund management from & amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; quot; to an efficiency that will allow consolidation of a solid basis for further welfare growth, will present the results of the activities and research undertaken by the Development Institute and will put forward a number of initiatives in the field of multilateral cooperation.
On the second day of the Forum, dedicated to environmental issues, the experts of the Institute for Project Development and Expertise will participate in the thematic discussions, exchange experience related to researches conducted in the Republic of Moldova and inform the participants about issues and perspectives in this field, including in the context of the European aspirations of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
